Recently, Qingdao Allheart Marine donated aluminium rescue boats to the Qingdao Blue Ocean Rescue Team. This is to facilitate the rescue team to go to flood-hit areas such as Anhui and Jiangxi to carry out rescue and relief work, and also to do our social responsibility for the flood control work in the Qingdao West Coast New Area. The donation handover ceremony took place at the Allheart Shipyard in Wangtai Town, Huangdao District.
Qingdao Blue Ocean Rescue Team, established in 2015, is a non-profit private charity organization formed by caring people from all walks of life. It is a member of the West Coast New Area Committee of the Communist Youth League. It is also a member of the Qingdao Emergency Response Association and the 9958 National Emergency Response Collaborative Platform.
Since the beginning of summer, the overall flood control in Qingdao has been tough due to heavy rainfall. The continuous heavy rainfall on 22 July caused the drainage pressure in Huangdao District to rise gradually, and flooding was serious in many areas from the evening onwards.
In the face of this situation, the Blue Ocean Rescue Team quickly set up the 722 Blue Ocean Flood Alert Group, sending members to various areas to carry out rescue and relief work. The team members braved the torrential rain to rescue trapped people and vehicles. During the two-day rescue operation, a total of more than 30 team members participated in the preparedness work; more than 80 rescue personnel and 20 rescue vehicles were deployed, successfully rescuing more than 20 trapped people and 40 trapped vehicles.
The Blue Ocean Rescue Team’s good deeds over the past few years of gratuitous rescue and disaster relief are admirable. Likewise, Allheart Marine, which adheres to the principle of good manners and never gives up, also hopes to participate in this public welfare cause by relying on the benefits of the shipbuilding industry, so as to dedicate corporate strength and deliver more positive energy to the society ……
